This book SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER TITLE

I had a crazy experience while reading this book. So let's go on with this review by spiting in topics.

THIS BOOK SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER TITLE:
"Translating God" is a fancy title. However ... "Digesting Prophetic Love" should be a more appropriated title for this book.

I never read a book talking so much about love and the prophetic like I see in this book. I don't want to give you any spoilers on the book, but it really changed my point of view on how I should deliver my prophecies to people. I have been mentored by this book. I have 19 years following Jesus, born again and etc and nobody EVER told me about Love in the prophetic. NEVER! So yeah ... I was reading this book and for many times while reading it, I got stuck at some phrases. Thinking ... that Love... is the ultimate Power. Without Love, there's no power. Thanks Shawn

THIS BOOK TEACHES YOU HOW TO USE THE PROPHETIC GIFTS (IN CASE YOU HAVE IT)
Everybody can prophesy and I like the way this book encourage everyone to listen to God and hear His voice and the prophetic. This book is indeed for everyone. If you don't have the call to be a prophet but you want to move in words of knowledge, read this book, it's going to help you. But if you have the call to be a prophet, listen .. this book is A MUST READ.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BOOK:
I went to the grocery to get some coffee samples and pumpkin cake samples (I'm coming through this season in my life that I'm broke and I have no money. I'm asking and praying to GOD for a breakthrough in my finances). I went there two times. Then I went back to my car. While walking back to my car, GOD spoke to me personal stuff. Then I took notations inside of my car and I took of going back to the grocery to take even more samples.

When I went there, I placed this book on the counter and a guy spoke on my ears: "WOW, This book has a nice cover. And It has a nice title". I then shared with him about the book. In the middle of the conversation, The Holy Spirit spoke to me. He said, Give this book to this man. Give this book to this man now. You are going to be responsible for a revolution.

Then I told the man: Listen, I bought this book to give to a friend of mine as a present, now in this weekend. So I thought it wouldn't hurt to read his book till Saturday and that's why I have it on my hands now on Wednesday (it had happened on a Wednesday). I started reading the book tuesday evening around 11 p.m and now is 12 p.m and I'm already on the half of the book. But God just spoke to me and He's telling me to give this book to you.

The guy goes like:
"WOW !!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS? ?!!?!?"

I said: HECK YEAH MAN! Take it ! It's yours now!!

He goes like:
"Young man! I'm a local pastor in this region and just now I started to launch a church with the direction of the Holy Spirit. I'm craving revival and the supernatural and I have been praying to God for something new. This book now is pretty handy! Thank you so much!!"

WOW !!! I GOT SUPER EXCITED !!
I didn't even know that that guy was a pastor and anything like that!!

My suggestion ?
Don't only buy this book and read it. Practice what you read. Fast. Pray and go to the grocery and move in the Spirit!!!

The Spirit of God consume me with his love while reading this book

I am a pastor in Albuquerque New Mexico. I truly can count on my hands the amount of books I've ever read. The book arrived yesterday and I finished it today. The Spirit of God consume me with his love while reading this book. I was actually sad when I got done with it because of the enjoyment I had while reading it. I would recommend it for anybody so they can see the heart of God. Great job by Shawn Bolz.

Are You Ready to Be Challenged? Translating God will mess you up in the best of ways.

"Translating God" literally rocked my world. To be honest, while reading this book, I laughed, I cried, and I fumed. There is no doubt Shawn was led by Holy Spirit as he penned these pages. In the book, Shawn takes a common sense and humorous approach which makes the topic understandable. However, this book also challenges the reader to evaluate his/her personal journey in the prophetic. Shawn's honesty and transparency causes the reader to self-reflect while at the same time encourages the reader to seek a closer personal relationship with Jesus. I highly recommend and encourage anyone who desires to hear from God on a higher level or any one in any aspect of ministry to read this book. This book will speak to you. It will challenge you. You will find simple yet profound truths within its pages. In fact, "Translating God" is a MUST READ for anyone who operates in the prophetic or ministry. It is one of the most practical books written on the prophetic that I have read to date. Simply stated: This book has changed my life. It will change yours, too.

GREAT INTRODUCTION TO A GREAT PAINTER

Books on Dufy are expensive and sometimes hard to find. This older edition is a great introduction. The text is very good, informative and makes the man come to life. The illustrations, while small, are top notch. Most older Skira editions contain the "tipped in" (glued in) illustrations, all in color. These were printed on fine, hard paper (the text is on much softer stock) and, thus, retain great brightness and impact. Growing up with these Skira (and Taschen) books I find that they hold up very well as art books. There is an old time grace to them.

When she inquires, Kitty Cat, Kitty Cat,/did you wash your face? bathtubbing Kitty Cat plays with a rocket ship and replies, Not yet, Mother,/I m in outer space. And when she asks if Kitty Cat has brushed her teeth, the pajama-clad Kitty hides under Mother s lounge chair, clawing at the fabric, Not yet, Mother/come look underneath! But story time and lullabies finally have Kitty Cat relenting, Okay, Mother,/I guess it s time for bed. Bryant depicts Kitty Cat and Mother s nightly rituals with soothing watercolor and colored pencils spreads, while Martin and Sampson s call-and-response verse is upbeat, even while the action simmers down as bedtime approaches. About the Author
Bill Martin Jr. (1916–2004) wrote many beloved books for children, some of which have become classics. He authored more than 200 titles in his lifetime, including Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?; Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?; and Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See? He also collaborated on a number of well-known books with author and education, Michael Sampson, including Chicka Chicka 1 2 3 and I Pledge Allegiance.

Michael Sampson lives with his family in Commerce, Texas. His picture books include Caddie the Golf Dog and Trick or Treat. When he’s not busy writing, he’s visiting schools and speaking at conferences. He and Bill Martin Jr revised the first edition of Chicken Chuck, originally published in 1946 and illustrated by Bill’s brother, Bernard Martin.

Laura J. Bryant studied drawing, painting, and print making at the Maryland Institute of Art, and is the illustrator of Where Fish Go in Winter: And Other Great Mysteries. She lives in the Shenandoah Mountains of West Virginia.

Very cute bedtime story with fun and relateable illustrations. Our son loves reading this book at bedtime. It shows a playful kitten who isn't quite ready for bed...just like someone we know! But then at the end, kitten is ready for sleep and so is our little boy.

Another Great Cat Book

This book was a present for a friend of mine's two children. The youngest one (2 years old) really loves the illustrations and loves having it read to her nightly.
